The Mediterranean climate is characterized by four seasons, and the biological
cycles of all living things, including pest species, are linked to them.
Conducting tests with species that are not reared but collected, such as wasps and hornets, or running field tests therefore depends on the time of year.

To overcome this limitation, Entostudio’s strategy is to pursue summer, conducting
tests wherever possible, testing against wasps and mosquitoes in Africa, South
America, or Southeast Asia during the winter months.

The possibility of conducting tests in tropical areas also allows for field studies on
invasive species either totally absent in Europe or only found in a few locations, such
as Aedes aegypti or Anopheles spp.
